About the Guild
The Silverado Handweavers and Spinners Guild was first formed in 1973 by a few dedicated fiber artists in the Napa Valley to promote handweaving and spinning to a high standard. Today, we continue that mission as well as explore other fiber art disciplines. We are members of the Conference of Northern California Handweavers (CNCH) and Handweavers Guild of America (HGA). We have many talented members including several award-winning fiber artists in both tapestry and rug weaving. Our Sheep to Shawl team, the Silverado Spinsters, has been a perennial winner in California and national contests.

Meetings
The guild meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm, in the Laurel Room at the Napa Senior Center. We start with a brief “business” meeting, have a show and tell of all our latest projects, and a program of interest to the group. Bring projects to share, questions you’d like answered, and an interest in all things fiber!
Meeting Location:
Napa Senior Center
1500 Jefferson Street
